Mental health is a condition of mental well-being that allows people to cope with life’s stressors, realize their strengths, study and work effectively, and contribute to their community. It is an essential component of health and well-being that underpins our individual and communal capacity to make decisions, form connections, and affect the world in which we live. Mental health is a fundamental human right. It is also essential for personal, community, and socioeconomic growth. According to Lifespan “Talking openly about mental health can reduce the misconceptions and stigma, and can encourage those who are suffering to seek help and find a support network. It’s important for caregivers, friends, and loved ones to understand the impact that mental health has on daily life.” A child’s mental health is essential for normal development, adapting to change, and dealing with life’s issues, which is why mental health awareness needs to be raised and is important, because it can help young people develop positive social, emotional, thinking, and communication skills and behaviors. It is essential to educate adolescents about mental health since it gives them with required awareness; increasing mental health awareness is one of the best ways to assist a person’s mental well-being. Mental health awareness is important because it teaches people when to seek help, promotes open discussion about mental health difficulties, and promotes access to proper mental health treatments. The importance of Mental Health Awareness is that it can help bring about change in a person’s life, particularly in adolescents, who are at a higher risk of developing mental health problems and are unsure of what to do.
